Our Company: Bernard Chaus, Inc., designs, sources, and markets nationally and internationally an extensive range of women's career, casual sportswear, and dresses. Their products are sold through all primary retail distribution levels, principally under various trademarks and under private label brand names. Our VC Design Team is looking for a candidate who is technology savvy to work within a fast-paced clothing design department. This position works within a creative environment; however, the responsibilities of this candidate are all data entry. Responsibilities:
- Set up seasonal “Maps” within the Excel system
- Update and manage “Maps” in Exenta after market in a timely manner, coordinating between sales and design and production to ensure all details are correct.
- Create and manage Excel Fabric charts following seasonal development of divisions
- fabrications.
- Create fabric allocation charts for overseas development, co-ordinate, and close follow through with fabric production team.
Requirements
- Min 3 years’ experience in data entry.
- Must have background in fashion.
- Strong Knowledge of the Exenta system preferred.
- Proficient in Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- BA in fashion design a plus.
- Self-motivated, problem solver with a flexible attitude.
