The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Oregon State Public Health Laboratory (OSPHL) in Hillsboro, Oregon has a career opportunity for a Laboratory Data Exchange Coordinator to coordinate and support timely and quality testing for populations at risk of infection.
The Oregon State Public Health Laboratory (OSPHL) has been actively protecting the public's health since 1903 by supporting state and local infectious disease control efforts, preventing metabolic disorders detectable at birth, and assuring the quality of testing in clinical and environmental laboratories.
This is a full-time, permanent, classified position and is represented by a union, SEIU Human Services.
What will you do?
As a Laboratory Data Exchange Coordinator, you will design and coordinate lab-wide onboarding activities with clinical providers and health systems to facilitate greater use of electronic test order and reporting (ETOR) statewide. You will create and maintain up to date policies and procedures around data exchange and implementation of a robust ET
