About this opportunity:
Freenome is seeking a Manager, Business Applications to lead our Business Applications team. This is a critical "player/coach" role responsible for implementing, managing, and enhancing our vital business applications, including Salesforce,Compliance Quest, Medical Affairs Apps, and Veeva. As a strategic liaison between IT and various business units , you will lead the development and implementation of solution roadmaps and manage end-to-end IT project delivery. This role is essential for mentoring the team, establishing operations, and scaling support to meet the company's growth.
What you’ll do:
- List the job responsibilities that are important and impactful for this role
- Serve as a strategic interface between IT and assigned business units, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Clinical, and Quality.
- Communicate IT decisions, priorities, and project information to stakeholders.
- Facilitate the investment intake process and lead the development and implementation of solution roadmaps.
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of key business applications such as Salesforce, Compliance Quest, Veeva, Netsuite, Hubspot,
Conga, Promomat, FiSpan, FloQast, Vena, and Jama. - Lead critical projects such as EAP Readiness, Hubspot for Marketing,Compliance Quest Upgrade, Jama implementation, 8x8 Customer service
phone system implementation, Scribe Now Implementation, and Wesfax implementation. - Ensure all IT systems, policies, and procedures are designed and operated in compliance with relevant healthcare and data privacy frameworks such as
HIPAA, GDPR, and SOX. - Develop, maintain, and regularly test a comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
- Proactively requests feedback from others and are open to continuous feedback
- Consistently delivers actionable and timely feedback to people at all levels in away that strengthens relationships and enables functional initiatives to
advance more quickly - Provide consistent communications to key functional and cross-functional stakeholders on progress and updates
- Build and maintain strong, healthy relationships with cross-functional peers
Must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Information Technology,with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity with direct responsibility for managing teams and budgets.
- Proven experience operating within a regulated industry (biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or healthcare).
- Deep, hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and managing modern,scalable enterprise IT infrastructure, including complex networking,
virtualization, and hybrid-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure). - A thorough and practical understanding of IT compliance, security, and data integrity requirements mandated by frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, and SOX.
