Fleet Maintenance Shop Manager

As a Fleet Maintenance Shop Manager, you’ll take the wheel of our transport maintenance operations, overseeing day-to-day shop performance, mentoring technicians, and ensuring our fleet stays safe, efficient, and road-ready.

• Lead daily shop operations with a focus on safety, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
• Coach and develop technicians, driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Manage preventive maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime and maximizing fleet reliability.
• Champion safety and compliance, enforcing PPE use and best practices.
• Drive cost-efficiency, reducing third-party spend and improving service delivery.
• Train and empower your team, using insights from audits and evaluations to raise the bar.
• Analyze root causes and implement strategies that improve shop performance and fleet uptime.
• Track and report KPIs, using data to guide decisions and boost productivity.

Compensation

Starting pay range:‏‏‎ ‎$74,200‏‏‎ ‎-‏‏‎ ‎$97,300.‏‏‎ Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.

• 5+ years of vehicle maintenance experience, with strong knowledge of gas and diesel systems.
• Expertise in maintaining a diverse fleet: light-duty vehicles, semi-tractors, refrigerated trailers, and gas transports.
• Skilled in using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Up-to-date on vehicle repair technologies and industry best practices.
• Prior leadership experience in a shop maintenance environment. 
• Familiar with state and federal inspection standards and compliance regulations.
• ASE Certifications (T-2 through T-7) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 20% annually.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
