About the role
Riptide Technology is hiring a Security Education Training Awareness Training Officer - Top Secret clearance to work onsite for our Springfield, VA location. This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
Responsibilities
The SETA Officer is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the development, facilitation, and implementation of a multi-disciplinary security training and awareness curriculum for SCI programs. The ideal SETA Officer requires excellent writing and speaking skills, creativity, sound judgement, and initiative.

Responsibilities:
- Experience in creating a security training program for a large program office;
- Experience in creating recurring schedules;
- Experience conducting briefs to large audiences;
- Experience tracking training certificates and updating training records
- Working knowledge of DODM 5200.01 Vol.1-3;
- Working knowledge of ICD 700 and 703;
- Working knowledge of E.O. 13526;
- Familiarity with the 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM;
- At least 3 years experience building briefs using the Microsoft Office Suite;
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) Training Curriculums.
Clearance Requirements:
- The position requires to be onsite due to the classified nature/location of the program.
- Security Clearance: This position will require U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance and will require the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
Required Education
- Master's degree or higher: > 2 years experience; or
- Bachelor's degree or higher: > 3 years experience; or
- Associate's degree: > 6 years experience; or
- High School/GED: > 8 years experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to balance policy requirements with program mission and timelines
- Ability to develop Annual Program Security and SCI Refresher Training;
- Must be aware of all DoD and IC Training requirements and seamlessly implement them in a Training curriculum;
- Ability to engender rapport with the military, civilians, and other contractors at all levels;
- Ability to prioritize tasks;
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and team building skills.
- Familiarity with the DODM 5205.07, Vol. 1-4;
- Familiarity with ICS 703-01;
