Hours and Location:

  • This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • We are located at 1135 S Sunset Ave Ste 104 West Covina Ca 91790. 

 

How You’ll Make an Impact:

As a  Staff Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll contribute to a community’s well-being, act as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient, effective, and continually improving while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.

  • Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence
  • Build effective relationships with local physicians and the medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
  • Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development
  • Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more

What You’ll Bring

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination
  • Pharmacist license current and in good standing 
  • A growth mindset and maintain any continuing education requirements
  • 1 years of experience in the practice of pharmacy

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in the practice of pharmacy, specialty pharmacy preferred
  • Heath system experience
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency
  • Board certification (e.g., BCOP, BCCP, or other relevant specialties) strongly preferred 
  • Experience in oncology, rheumatology, and nephrology settings
  • URAC, ACHC accreditation experience

 

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to commute and work daily at the Pharmacy Site and Pharmacy Operational hours listed.
  • This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
  • Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes

Base compensation:  Hourly ranges for this role is $65/hour to $75/hour.

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as region, locations, education, experience, and skillset)
