POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supervising and overseeing the Behavioral Health Case Managers. This position may also keep a reduced caseload of clients having behavioral health issues. The Behavioral Health Case Management Supervisor will also assist Behavioral Health Case Managers in assessing client needs, developing, implementing, and reviewing service plans, and working with other internal and external resources in achieving client service needs.

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in the Social Service field is required, or a minimum of three (3) years of behavioral health experience and one (1) year of direct experience may replace a bachelor’s degree
- A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with State AHCCCS and Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) clients; preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience, preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong time management skills
- Knowledge of the Arizona Department of Health Services and RBHA requirements
- Thorough knowledge of current versions of DSM and ICD
- Ability to support, train, and supervise a team of case managers
- Ability to provide effective and respectful quality care and services that are responsive to diverse cultural beliefs and practices
- Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and the Red Cross
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Valid Arizona driver’s license
- Level 1 Fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety
