Responsibilities
- Develop warehouse logistics, manage forecast and supply of raw materials, procure materials, communicate with external suppliers, develop training material, develop and maintain production schedule, and other planning and logistics duties required to support the SLC manufacturing facility
- Own a forecast and order raw materials and consumables used in manufacturing
- Develop and manage relationships with external suppliers in a way that reflects Denali’s values
- Support the deployment of and become a lead user in Denali Salt Lake City’s (SLC) inventory and warehouse management system (Enterprise Resource Planning)
- Collaborate closely with Process Development and Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT) teams to understand manufacturing material needs and timelines
- Partner closely with Quality and maintain a quality-focused mindset to ensure GMP requirements are met for inventory management and logistics
- Support tech transfer of new molecules into the facility from an inventory planning and business process perspective
- Balance risk, cost, time, and resources in developing and performing operations
- Characterize learnings within the context of the bigger picture and implication for overall site build-out
- Communicate results and findings to the Denali SLC team
- Conduct all activities in accordance with company policies & Standard Operating Procedures, global regulatory guidelines, environmental guidelines, as appropriate, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a regulated industry OR associate degree with 8 total years of relevant experience
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, and/or materials planning
- Skills in developing, understanding, and implementing processes that enable successful business operations
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to contribute to a team where employees have a shared purpose and vision; foster a “One Denali” environment
- Ability to build trustful and effective relationships with authenticity and humility
- Proficient oral presentation and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- BioPharma Industry experience
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
