Position Title: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, DINING SERVICES (T-FtMilMC) Fort Mill, SC 

Salary: $63,000 - $68,000

Job Summary

Summary:  As the Assistant Director of Dining Services for Morrison Healthcare at Ft. Mill Medical Center in Ft. Mill, South Carolina, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day food service operations. You will manage and lead a team of associates, and will be responsible for talent development, managing client relationships, profitability, and supporting financial goals for the unit. This is a great opportunity for an RD or CDM who is looking to move in operations management. Someone with experience in restaurants or hotel management, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations would also be a good fit for this role.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with the Director, Dining Services and Chef, plus manages the hourly team, in creating nutritious and top quality food. 
• Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams. 
• Maintains excellent relationships with the client. 
• Manages, trains, and develops associates. 
• Administers patient satisfaction surveys and reports
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of food service management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills. 
• Financial experience and business acumen skills.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
• Associate’s degree is preferred.
