Responsible to Supply Chain Management for the direction and management of the Columbus West master data (SAP™, APRISO and related applications), providing for maintenance of manufacturing master data and improvement of business processes. Works together with the SAP Coordinator to resolve SAP™ and APRISO issues and user problems. Drives accuracy in the master data to ensure accurate reporting and inventory control.
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the facilitation, quality, and accuracy of plant level manufacturing master data.
Assures data integrity and consistency in Columbus West Business Systems in the primary areas of Material Masters, BOMs, Routers, Work Centers, Production Versions, Control Cycles, working with the other functional groups in the plant.
Coordinate the collection of master data from appropriate sources (ex. Engineering, R & D, purchasing, QM, planning, finance, etc).
Collaborates with the quality organization to ensure documentation alignment with master data.
Supports Accounting and Logistics during budget process to ensure that changes to materials, new products, and cost reduction projects during the fiscal year are captured in SAP.
Ensures that all change requests are implemented using the approved BD methodology and have the appropriate level of authorization and documentation.
Supports audit requirements as necessary.
Supports Holdrege master data activities as per the above.
Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Education Requirements:
Associate degree in business or supply chain required
BA/BS Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred
Minimum Experience:
Three years of plant manufacturing experience and previous document control experience.
Strong previous experience with SAP and knowledge of master data.
Experience with the business and manufacturing processes that are supported by the SAP master data.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and SAP, Document involvement and linkages with Master Data
Understanding of SAP master data including the material master, routing, bill of material, work center, production version, control cycle, document links, etc.
Experience in project management
Acute attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational skills
Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function
Ability to read and write and converse in English
