Carlin - Process Electrical Trainer

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Process Electrical Trainer at our Carlin operation. The successful candidate will coach and mentor a maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure technicians have the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitude to perform their assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner 
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all work areas to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees and contractors
• Collaborate with management to conduct needs analysis studies to determine training needs within organization
• Coordinating on-the-job training activities with field trainers and supervisors
• Maintain document control standards for trained personnel
• Liaison with third party training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
• Minimum of 5 years electrical and/or instrumentation experience; preferably in a mining (Process) environment required 
• 3 years training experience, preferably in a mining (Process) environment preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required
• Proven safety record required
• Excellent attendance record required
• Valid driver license required
