Job Description:

Our customers range from small and mid-sized companies up to global enterprises.  Our Global Logistics and Distribution business unit provides comprehensive logistics services and warehousing solutions utilizing a global network of distribution centers, innovative technology and supply chain expertise to manage the flow of goods from receiving to storage and order processing to shipment.

Job Summary:

The Distribution Specialist supports Operations and Transportation in the UPS Mail Innovations (MI) Regional Processing Facility. This position monitors and coordinates warehouse operations to ensure timely departure of trucks for deliveries and pickups. This position assists customers with requests for delivery information and supplies and provides management with data on financial and operational performance. This role provides guidance to outsourced labor employees including drivers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Demonstrates expertise in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook - Required.

• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey information effectively and professionally - Required.

• Demonstrates strong organizational and time-management skills, consistently meeting deadlines efficiently - Required.

• Must currently reside in the same geographic location as the job- Required.

Other Criteria:

• Job Grade: 10D - Specialist

• Schedule/typical working hours: Monday-Friday 9am to 6pm with occasional Saturdays.
