LSE Administrative Undergraduate Intern

The Savannah River National Laboratory’s Weapons Production Technology Directorate’s Advanced Engineering Division is seeking to hire a currently enrolled college student who pursuing an undergraduate degree or a recent college graduate to work around 40 hours per week this summer and at least twenty and up to forty hours per week thereafter for up to one year as a Limited-Service Employee. The candidate will assist laboratory staff in a variety of administrative, communication, and purchase requisitioning related assignments. This position will primarily focus on generating purchase requisitions for materials, items, services, and equipment. This position will provide a professional learning opportunity that offers a meaningful, practical work-related experience.

• Develop and maintain accurate and complete files
• Work safely with particular attention to quality and attention to details 
• Comply with all policies and standards 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Pursuing or earned a Bachelor’s level degree
• Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 from an accredited four-year college or university
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
