The Opportunity...We are seeking a Talent Acquisition and People Ops Coordinator for a 3-6 month contract, with the potential for extension, to join our People team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the onboarding process for a significant number of new employees (circa 400 – 500 employees), ensuring their transition into our company is seamless and positive. Additionally, you will provide essential day-to-day support in various aspects of people operations, employee experience, talent acquisition, and talent development, contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the People department.

How You'll Contribute...
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team in scheduling and coordinating interviews across the organization
- Communicate directly with candidates, hiring managers and interview panels to ensure a smooth candidate experience from first touch point to offer stage
- Responsible for ensuring interviews run smoothly, in particular multi-panel virtual and onsite interviews
- Greet and assist candidates attending onsite interviews in our LA office
- Maintain employee data in UKG, our HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
- Process offboarding for exiting employees
- Support various talent, employee experience, and people operations initiatives as needed
- Fully own the onboarding of new hires across the organization
- Initiate, manage, and track background checks for new hires to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure that all necessary onboarding procedures are completed, such as verifying licensing requirements and ensuring new employees are cleared to start
- Create employee profiles in UKG, our HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
- Orchestrate Day 1 readiness
- Welcome new hires when they arrive in the office
- Process I-9 verifications to establish employment eligibility of new employees
- Maintain employee data in UKG, our HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
- Process offboarding for exiting employees
- Support various talent, employee experience, and people operations initiatives as needed
Onboarding Responsibilities
What We're Looking For...
- 1+ years proven experience providing administrative support within Talent Acquisition/People Operations/Human Resources, or equivalent People function
- Proficiency in Microsoft Offices Packages (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in using HR software, preferably UKG
- Proficiency in using ATS system, preferably Lever and Fountain
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of labor relations and laws
- Excellent communication skills for in-person, email, and telephone calls
- Present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets
