Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Understand all digital program requirements and work within a matrix organization to execute on all digital aspects for the program.
- Perform model-based systems design and simulation to evaluate alternate architectures and to automate validation and verification activities
- Define and streamline systems engineering processes to quickly and cost effectively execute advanced technology programs with heavy emphasis on application of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using a variety of techniques, methods and tools
- Perform system engineering and provide technical / project leadership on Research & Development and New Product Introduction programs
- Allocate system functional requirements into efficient software and firmware architectures
- Develop innovative technical solutions utilizing the full capabilities of GE Edison Works on development programs and proposals
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers
- Streamline systems engineering processes to quickly and cost effectively execute advanced technology programs
- Generate and maintain systems engineering planning documents
- Interact with customer engineering organizations to define and shape requirements for future platforms and systems
- Perform modeling of and analysis of system safety aspects of product design
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
- This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. Citizenship. Preference will be given to candidates who currently hold US Government Security Clearance

The base pay range for this position is $128,800 - $171,350. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on April 1, 2026.
