Mission Healthcare is hiring for a Regional VP of Sales for Home Health!
The Regional Vice President of Sales (RVP) will be responsible for developing business plans and strategies that will achieve the company’s sales goals, as well as managing the sales teams within their service line and region.
This position will be based in and supporting our Northern California market.

Job Duties/Knowledge
- Accomplishes sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in assigned territories; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Achieves net contribution growth goals necessary to support company objectives. Achieves sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining sales system improvements; implementing change. Establish and maintain a team that consistently meets or exceeds sales quotas.
- Assists the VP of Operations, Branch Directors, or DCPS in establishing volume projections in the annual budget and in establishing allocations for the marketing department. Monitors allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations.
- Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections.
- Meets sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections.
- Maintains and expands customer base by counseling sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities. Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for territories in support of regional objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
- At least three years’ experience in health care marketing management, preferably in-home care operations.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
- Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
- Knowledge of corporate business management.
- Good communications, negotiation, and public relations skills.
- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
- Must have strong computer skills and must be able to function in a stressful environment.
