Commercial/Consumer Lender

Responsible for soliciting, developing, and underwriting a variety of new loans such as installment, construction, commercial, interim, and permanent financing requests for new and existing customers to meet the Bank’s growth goals.
Monitor the existing installment and commercial loan portfolio to ensure proper risk ratings and early identification of potential problems
Support the banks strong banking relationship culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service, and excellent product knowledge
Maximize bank profitability through appropriate pricing of new loan originations, fee income, and selling various bank products & services.
Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on risk considerations, and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority within the bank as required.
Attend meetings and bank events as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

1-3 years banking experience required
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, business, economics or related field
High level communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent interpersonal skills, a committed listener, deals well with individuals of all personality types; builds rapport and confidence quickly
Computer skills, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, knowledge of Internet
Ability to operate with minimal supervision, high achiever and strong work ethic
Ability to work in a team environment
