The Cloud Administrator will support all aspects of the build and sustainment of the technical architecture for a large enterprise. The role requires supporting the technical leadership team with management of the work being performed by cloud architects, cloud engineers/developers, and UNIX/Windows administrators. The role will also provide an opportunity to shadow these more senior resources and eventually contribute to the hands-on work being done.
The work:
- Collaborate within a project team to solve complex problems
- Create scripts and templates for automatic provisioning of resources
- Enjoy learning new technologies quickly
- Design and Deploy Cloud services in a high-performance production environment
- Ability to work independently on project tasks
- Involved in a workstream(s) where you were an active contributor and can talk to the progress
Here’s what you need:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in software development and infrastructure as code, specifically with technologies such as Terraform and/or Ansible
- Certification in either Amazon Web Services (e.g. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) and/or Microsoft Azure (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals)
- Candidates must have or be able to obtain CompTIA Security+ CE certification within 2 months of starting
- Experience working with databases, compute, storage and networks on one or more of the following: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, VMWare or Oracle Cloud Platform
- Demonstrate experience with Cloud Migration and/or Cloud Modernization
- 100% onsite requirement
Bonus points if you have:
- Exposure to or experience with full stack software development is also desired, using programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Worked with container and serverless technologies (ie: AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions etc)
- Exposure to DevOps Methodologies by using orchestration tools (ie: Chef, Ansible, etc.)

- Ability to obtain Secret clearance

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $67,200 - 120,000
Colorado: $67,200 - 103,600
New York: $62,100 - 120,000
Washington State: $71,500 - 110,400
