Systems Engineer 2 (Hybrid) - Linux/Puppet/Ansible/VMware/Hardware/Network

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who will be acting and assisting with other daily responsibilities.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+), or obtained within 90 days of starting.
• Active RedHat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) or better, or obtained within 90 days of starting.

Required Skills:

• Experienced leader, mentor, and bringing people together to work on common goals.
• Experienced with gathering and documenting requirements, long-term planning, and working with outside teams.
• At least 3 years of experience with Linux.
• Familiarity with puppet, ansible, and/or VMware.
• Experience with hardware lifecycles.

Desired Skills:

• L2/L3 network experience and NFS or S3 storage appliances.

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $125,000 - $250,000 (Depends on the years of experience)
