Responsibilities
As part of the modernization program, the Configuration Analyst will provide Change Management and deployment workflow support to various services running on enterprise platforms. A clear understanding of change control processes is essential for this role. The Configuration Analyst must be able to quickly learn the change control workflows and be able to execute them with precision. The Configuration Analyst will provide proactive monitoring and release planning activities as an area of critical importance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Experienced in change management as it relates to software development, software version management and functional and physical configuration management.
- Plans and coordinates preparation of documentation to ensure CM process requirements are met.
- Utilizes configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of developed and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products.
- Performs configuration management and software release tasks.
- Follows procedures used to review, support, and package custom developed software and COTS products.
- The Configuration Analyst reports to the Configuration Manager.
- Local travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience.
- Experience with Agile software development lifecycle and processes.
- Experience supporting an Agile software development program.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to interact with, support, and influence fellow members of a diverse team within a large program. Your ability to articulate a point of view, coordinate across teams, and execute configuration management tasking and develop new strategies in a team setting will be key to your success in this role.
- Active Secret (or higher) clearance. Interim clearances are acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of productivity tools using programming, database, or scripting languages in support of software development.
- Experience supporting DOS Consular Affairs applications.
- Experience supporting IBM ELM-related tools, including DOORS.
- Experience supporting SAFe agile development and tools such as ELM, Nexus, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Experience working with or supporting a DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Apply for this role
