Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Supply Chain Business Operations Manager (Level K) to join the Warehouse Business Transformation team in Renton, WA.

This dedicated, special project team is leading key Supply Chain initiatives in support of 737 and Everett Fulfillment operations. The incumbent will lead the team of project managers / business operations specialists and partner directly with the team of operations and industrial engineers to successfully implement this project.

You will have the chance to define and lead program and project management best practices. You will help drive business planning and decision making, operations, and business insights up-and-down the BCA value stream.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage employees performing business management activities in the area of Business Operations.
  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals.
  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Ensure work statement compliance.
  • Ensure consistent management system processes and tools are used.
  • Manage, develop and motivate employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher is desired but not required
  • Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals
  • Experience working in a multifaceted work environment, including managing multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Supply Chain
  • Experience in Business Operations or Project/Program Management role

Typical Education/ Experience:

Typically, 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
