About Our Role
An exciting opportunity exists at our Kelso manufacturing facility in the fixed term position of Plant Accounting Manager.
Our Kelso operations process seafood and snacking products (75 SKUs) for the retail and foodservice markets, and employs around 100 people. 50 tonnes of product is produced daily and approximately 95% of items are made of either Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) or Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) seafood.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager - Ag & Manufacturing, this integral role will provide value added business partnering to our site whilst being an active member of the site leadership team, and support the strategic long term development plans of the site. This fixed term role will be offered with an end date scheduled for December 2025 and will commence ASAP on site at Kelso.

What You Will Do
- Implement efficient and effective financial planning, reporting and processes
- Be accountable for delivery of weekly, EOM, forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans for site
- Provide insightful, timely and accurate reporting for site
- Participate in the monthly Sales & Operating Planning (S&OP) process, analysing and forecasting financial implications
- Approach tasks with a continuous improvement mind set
- Support the development and execution of strategies and projects
- Identify, analyse and evaluate the commercial viability of various business proposals and strategic projects
- Comply with all legislative / statutory obligations and company policies
- Develop the site finance team as a high-performance team
- Develop and drivE contemporary ideas around financial performance and efficient business processes
About You
- Significant experience in Supply Chain accounting within FMCG, manufacturing preferred
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- You will have certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Demonstrated understanding of financial information systems, JDE/SAP preferred
- Sound financial knowledge and experience in business case development
- Experience with EOM, budget / strategy process
- Attention to detail whilst seeing the big picture
- Significant financial analysis, modelling and forecasting skills
- Ability to understand and communicate complex issues
- People management and team building experience
