Reports To: Controller (Day-to-day guidance provided by Senior AR Accountant)
Status: Full-time Exempt
Location: Los Angeles (Little Tokyo Office)
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday (one day in office)
Salary Range: $75,00.00 – $85,000.00 (based on experience and qualifications)

What We Do:
Woodcraft Rangers provides TK-12 expanded learning programs, including before and after school, specialty enrichment, and summer learning. In the past few years, Woodcraft has expanded its menu of services beyond traditional afterschool programs and summer camps to include early learning, environmental and social justice, college access, and inclusion services for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, we offer LifeCraft, a college and career advancement program to support the development of approximately 2,000 staff. Today, Woodcraft Rangers serves more than 30,000 youth ages 4 to 18 each year across 150 plus Title I schools in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties, and continues to expand its reach.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Accountant to join the Finance & Accounting team at Woodcraft Rangers. This role supports the accurate and timely preparation of invoices, tracking of incoming payments, and reconciliation of receivables activity in support of the organization’s revenue operations.
The AR Accountant works closely with the Senior AR Accountant and collaborates with program and grants staff to ensure that all billings are accurate, complete, and submitted on time. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to develop their skills in a mission-driven organization that makes a real difference in communities across Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
Invoicing & Billing
Prepare and issue invoices to funders, school districts, government agencies, and other payers in accordance with contract terms, billing schedules, and organizational policies
Ensure all invoices include accurate program data, billing periods, rates, and supporting documentation as required by each funding source
Submit invoices through approved billing portals, email, or other required channels in a timely manner per established deadlines
Coordinate with program and grants staff to gather the data, attendance records, and supporting documentation needed to complete accurate billings
