About the role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and curious Software Engineering Intern to join our development team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects that directly impact our products and services. You will gain hands-on experience in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and testing, while being mentored by experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with software engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions.

  • Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, retrospectives), and project planning meetings.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications.

  • Conduct research and propose solutions to technical challenges.

  • Assist in automating processes and building internal tools as needed.

  • Complete a capstone project over the course of the internship, culminating in a final presentation to the engineering leadership team and stakeholders.
     

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with web development frameworks or front-end libraries (e.g., React, Angular).

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Interest in software testing, DevOps, or data engineering.
