About the job:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Contribute to improve company’s cash flow, liquidity, and profitability by effectively managing collection activities.
- Proactively contact customers via phone and email to negotiate and secure payment commitments.
- Provide timely and professional support regarding collection issues, discrepancies, and short payments.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve disputed receivables.
- Ensure accurate and timely cash application.
- Execute dunning procedures to follow up on outstanding balances.
- Partner closely with Credit Management, Customer Service, and Sales teams to mitigate collection risks.
- Collaborate with external customers to resolve receivable issues
- Ensure monthly collection targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to review debtor performance and address concerns.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and a proactive, reliable approach to assigned tasks.
- Take ownership of responsibilities delegated by the Collections Team Manager.
About you:
We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- A commitment to accuracy and a willingness to continuously learn and improve
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- 1–2 years of experience in Collections or finance role
- Familiarity with SAP (a plus) and strong Excel skills
- Fluency in both Portugese and English (required)
- A positive, can-do attitude and the motivation to grow within an international organization
