Bosch associates at the distribution center in Greer receive, store and ship more than 50,000 different products for video surveillance, intrusion and fire detection, access control and management systems, as well as professional audio and conference systems.

Associates also create product kits and support light assembly for customer-specific projects. The facility is designed around a Lean Logistics concept to allow for a flexible product storage design and standardized processing, which ensures speed and accuracy for fulfilling orders for customers across North and South America. The site also serves as a regional technical training center for Bosch Security Systems customers.

Job Description

This shift for this position is 7:00PM - 3:30AM (Sunday PM - Friday AM)

Responsible for maintaining a quality environment within the CDC with focus on inventory correctness and customer satisfaction. Providing a root cause analysis of ongoing issues and offering solutions to items with repeat issues. Consult with VSLs and various departments and provide reports as needed.

Perform quality checks and track deviations in order to contribute to the overall quality performance of the building.
Participate in new associate training (New hire Orientation).
Assist CDC operations through continuous improvement projects. Identifying trends and gaps for management via data analysis of complaints and process confirmation audit results.
Advocate relentlessly for the customers and be the facilitator of service excellence in the CDC.
Additional duties associated with auditing, including process consultation, knowledge base content consultation, and project participation.
Update daily complaint files.
Provide a daily update for customer complaints to the appropriate teams; Customer Service, Buyer / Planner, VSL's.
Periodic and special reports on quality statistics and other related quality issues on assigned program(s) or product area(s).
Analyze and investigate the root cause of external and internal non-confirming products.
Assist Outbound Traffic Manager with freight complaints.
Assist Distribution Center Manager, Logistics Supervisor and Value Stream Leads with special projects and reports.

Qualifications

This shift for this position is 7:00PM - 3:30AM (Sunday PM - Friday AM)

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years business experience in Supply Chain or Logistics environment.
Highly skilled with Microsoft programs.
Proven ability to communicate effectively .
High quality focus - driven by quality to review tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
Demonstrated professional demeanor along with a passionate, proactive approach to servicing the customer.
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and oral/written communication skills.
Proven ability to pay attention to detail, in addition to strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure or a tight deadline.
Ability to be flexible and adaptive to internal processes and change, delays or unexpected events.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced work environment.
Ability to work well under pressure or tight deadline.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including; overtime before scheduled shift, some 12 hour days in November, and Saturdays as needed.
