Summary of Duties

As an employee working within the Child Welfare Program, you will have an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Oregon’s most vulnerable children and families. As a Stability Support Specialist, you will: 

• Transport Youth: Provide transportation for youth to school, appointments, and social activities.

• Supervision of Youth: supervising youth in the office, community or in home.

• Coordinate Activities: Coordinate activities that support youth engagement.

• Gather Information: Collect and document information objectively from case providers, clients, family members, schools, and other relevant sources to support family time planning.

• Ensure Safety and Well-being: Safeguard the safety and well-being of youth.

• Oversee daily activities: Ensure the safety, hygiene, well-being, and care of youth, including school attendance and appointments.

• Provide Behavioral Support: Offer redirection and guidance to youth as needed.
