Job Summary:
The Associate Director of Nursing
 is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations within the healthcare facility. This role ensures high-quality patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and effective management of clinical staff. The Clinical Director leads initiatives to improve care delivery, integrates services across departments, and maintains adherence to organizational standards and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Clinical Operations: Manage and coordinate all clinical services, ensuring quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Staff Management: Supervise, mentor, and guide clinical staff, including physicians, nurses, and support personnel. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and industry best practices.
  • Budget Management: Oversee departmental budgets, allocate resources effectively, and advocate for the needs of the clinical department.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols and regulatory compliance, including requirements from the Joint Commission, CMS, and other governing bodies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and healthcare professionals to integrate services and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives aimed at improving care delivery, patient satisfaction, and staff performance, staying current with medical research and advancements.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Master’s degree in healthcare management, nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in clinical management or a senior healthcare role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Effective communication with staff, patients, and external stakeholders
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality standards
    • Ability to delegate and supervise tasks efficiently
    • Budget planning, resource allocation, and departmental evaluation skills
    • Proficiency with hospital computer systems, including EMR
