Medical Assistant

Location: Goldenberg & Associates Position: Medical Assistant
Internal Medicine in Illinois seeks a (full-time) certified medical assistant to join our team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Patient care
• Rooming patients
• Recording and gathering patient medical information (vitals)
• Collect, log, and prepare lab specimens
• Assist with administrative duties (scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and verifying insurance eligibility.
• Liaison between patients & physicians
• Teamwork
• Service
• Leadership
• Determine the reason for the visit
• Administer injections, refill prescriptions, etc.
• Perform necessary clinical testing.

Requirements/ Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of accredited medical assistant program preferred
• CPR Certification
• Well-spoken, friendly, outgoing
• Experience in the healthcare setting

Work Environment:

• Solo Practice
• Monday thru Friday
• Friday half day
• Vacation
• 401K
• Sick Time
