<h1>Senior Project Manager (Business Central ERP) - Contract Role</h1><p><strong>Department: </strong>Project Delivery Practice</p><p><strong>Employment Type: </strong>Contract / Temp</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Dublin</p><br/><h3>Description</h3> <strong>Senior Project Manager (Business Central ERP) - Contract Role<br/></strong><br/> We have an exciting contract role for a Senior Project Manager with experience delivering Business Central ERP implementations. <br/> <br/> You will successfully manage allocated Business Central ERP projects and their associated activities, delivering work that meets project requirements. You will have a strong stakeholder management experience, managing projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This is a hybrid role based at home or Ireland and involves some travel to customer sites.<br/><br/> <br/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <strong>Responsibilities:<br/></strong><br/> Successfully delivers Business Central ERP implementation projects with minimal supervision, or potentially an alternative project of high complexity under guidance:<br/><br/> <ul> <li>Effectively engaging the Project Sponsor throughout, understanding the business imperatives for each project.</li> <li>Working closely and collaboratively with colleagues within the commercial and finance teams, understanding the contractual terms and financial imperatives for each project.</li> <li>Ensuring that each project is managed in a contractually compliant manner throughout; similarly verifying that the client meets their obligations.</li> <li>Establishing effective project governance and controls in line with contracted and prescribed standards.</li> <li>Maintaining focus upon the critical path.</li> <li>Focus upon meeting or exceeding commitments regarding project success criteria.</li> <li>Ensuring that a clear and objective assessment of project performance is regularly reported in line with contracted and prescribed standards.</li> <li>Escalating where required in a timely and appropriate manner.</li> </ul>Supports client and subcontractor engagements:<br/><br/> <ul> <li>Supporting client and subcontractor engagements within the context of a client engagement and stakeholder management structure.</li> <li>Engaging client and subcontractor stakeholders and peers, building positive relationships.</li> <li>Working creatively and positively on every project towards optimising client satisfaction.</li> <li>Being widely recognised as the “go to” person for each of their projects.</li> <li>Acting with integrity, engendering trust and confidence.</li> <li>Understanding client culture and values, adapting own and team engagement with the client.</li> <li>Understanding client business case, escalating contention between client objectives and contracted outcomes.</li> <li>Displaying and promoting our core values.</li> </ul>Forms and effectively manages cross-functional project teams, including subcontractor and third parties:<br/><br/> <ul> <li>Organising, and directing project teams.</li> <li>Setting and communicating clear goals and establishing priorities.</li> <li>Keeping the project team aware of the long-term objectives and focused upon the near-term deliverables.</li> <li>Maintaining an emphasis upon project success criteria.</li> <li>Challenging poor performance, seeking support where appropriate.</li> <li>Understands and conforms with prescribed business governance.</li> </ul><br/><h3>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</h3>Required Skills:<br/><br/> <ul> <li>Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.</li> <li>Experience delivering complex Business Central ERP implementations.</li> <li>Experience working with large enterprise organisations delivering business applications projects and understand the needs of these organisations</li> <li>Experience in managing projects to minimise pressure and tight deadlines, maintaining control throughout.</li> <li>Ability to work in a very faced paced organisation with challenging deadlines.</li> <li>Certification in Prince II, PMI, or equivalent project management methodology.</li> </ul> <br/><br/> Advantageous: <br/><br/> <ul> <li>Degree level qualification, preferably in IT, Computer Science, or related field.</li> <li>Project delivery experience to include the delivery of custom, enterprise-scale business applications using the Microsoft technology stack (Power Platform, Modern data platform) is preferable, although not essential.</li> <li>Experience of Solver, Jet Reports and Tasklet.</li> <li>Experience of project delivery in the government, higher education, or financial services sectors. </li> <li>Experience of Waterfall and agile development methodologies.</li> </ul>Skills/Behavioural Competencies: <br/><br/> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Results focused; competitive drive and ability to work under pressure.</li> <li>Ability to work on own initiative in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Keen attention to detail.</li> <li>
