Job Summary
This position is anticipated to last two years and begins Summer/Fall 2026.
Responsibilities
- Develops original research questions and implementation of studies to investigate those questions.
- Participates in study design, data acquisition and analysis, manuscript development, and presentation/publication of results.
- Assists with teaching responsibilities of up to two quarters of behavioral science classes each academic year.
- Serves as the coordinator of the Center’s brownbag series and assists with other Center programs and events as needed.
- Uses subject matter and best practices knowledge to perform lab and/or research-related duties and tasks. Works independently to assist with project design.
- Guides data collection, evaluation and analysis. Designs and manages databases. Writes reports, articles and manuscripts.
- Performs other related work as needed.

Education:
- Ph.D., earned or expected by August 2026, in economics, psychology, or finance.
Experience:
- Conducting computer, web-based, and interpersonal interaction-based experiments.

- Familiarity with methods of experimentation.
- Outstanding verbal, written, as well as organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Work independently with little supervision; possess a self-motivated disposition; identify opportunities for improvement and recommend effective changes, all while achieving key objectives resulting in desired outcomes.
- Excellent strategic planning, critical thinking, analytical, and persuasion skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and diplomatically with colleagues, as well as with students, faculty and corporate contacts in a multitude of communication methods, including in-person, email, and phone.
