About the role

The Sr. Associate - Software Engineering is responsible for maintaining software applications under the supervision and guidance of manager or lead engineers. This role provides technical skills through hands-on experience or formal training.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and enhances software applications under the supervision of a manager or technical lead.

  • Participates in other application development projects as assigned.

  • Learns and applies foundational AI/ML concepts in collaboration with senior engineers.

  • Assists in integrating AI-powered APIs or services into existing applications.

Required

  • Bachelor of Technology/Engineering or equivalent degree.

  • 0–2 years of professional experience (internships and academic projects welcome).

  • Familiarity with relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, HTML, SQL).

  • Experience using Eclipse-based IDEs and working in Windows OS environments.

  • Strong adherence to coding standards and ability to identify and resolve basic software issues.

  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts through coursework, certifications, or personal projects.

Preferred

  • MS or ME in Technology/Engineering or equivalent degree.

  • Full stack development experience.

  • Experience with JS-based rich web UI frameworks – especially React.js.

  • Familiarity with NoSQL data storage solutions (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).

  • Exposure to event-driven and microservice architectures.

  • Experience with AWS or other public cloud services.

  • Interest or experience in integrating AI/ML models or APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, TensorFlow).

  • MuleSoft development experience.

Starting Compensation

Hourly Rate: $29.71 - $36.06 (Amount based on office location, relevant experience, skills, and competencies)
