About this role:
As a Physician in Emergency Medicine, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.
- Competitive Compensation: $288,000 plus the potential to earn more with a night shift differential for each night shift worked.
- Quality Bonus: $5,000
- Incentives: $25,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 relocation bonus (if applicable), and up to $100,000 student loan repayment bonus (if applicable). We’re also PSLF eligible!
- You will practice at St. James Healthcare, a Level 4 Trauma Center, in Butte, MT.
- Shifts will be 12-hour shifts, nights preferred but 50/50 night/day split optional.
- Full-time is considered 120 shifts for the year.
- Daily APP coverage from 11-11.
- Connections to St. Vincent Regional Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, and other Intermountain Health hospitals.

What you’ll bring:
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- Residency trained in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
- Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.
- Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
- Passion for emergency medicine and rural communities.
- 3 to 5 years of Emergency Medicine experience is preferred.
- Open to nights.
