The officer will be part of the Corporate Planning & Development team under the Resource Discovery and Management division, managing inter/intra divisional projects alongside multiple stakeholders. The corporate planning portfolio include performing regular data analyses for planning and performance tracking to achieve effective resource management. The officer will be expected to create and deliver effective presentations to major stakeholders and draft business cases, policies, guidelines, and procedures well.

Project Management
Manage divisional projects e.g. leading teams in high-value tenders/ITQs and participate in improvement projects for greater operational efficiency, enhanced facilities or processes
Complete project management activities (i.e. project initiation, planning, execution and closure), including transition of projects to operations group and post implementation review
Represent RDM as a divisional representative in cross-divisional projects and new initiatives such as development of new libraries or upgrading of existing libraries and work alongside RDM colleagues to meet project deliverables
Data Analysis
Manage the functions of data analytics to support the division’s capabilities in resource planning and management
Develop and implement relevant performance management processes and reporting systems to track the division’s performance and achievements
Perform data visualisation and present analyses to stakeholders within NLB
Governance and Compliance
Ensure adherence to policies and guidelines, including clarification and responses with relevant parties as well as preparation and filing of relevant documents
[What we are looking for]
Background in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics and at least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in project management, with breadth of experience managing projects across functions preferred
Strong interest in working with data and numbers and familiarity with statistical techniques and tools in Excel and Qliksense to interpret and present data findings, with experience in these areas preferred
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal & communication skills, especially in regard to stakeholder management
Produce and deliver high quality presentations and possesses a good command of written and spoken English
A good team player who can multitask and has the ability to think independently
