IT Operations Support Engineer (FTL - Onsite)

Job Description

The IT Operations Support Engineer will assist in the planning, development, and day-to- day operations. This will include the installation, repair and upgrade services of Information Technology systems equipment at all sites and any other technology-related duties as assigned. They will be responsible for providing escalation support to the Tech Support Specialists. The IT Operations Support Engineer will also provide project management of various Information Technology projects. This will include working closely with both Field Operations and Construction teams to plan and provide IT support for all field related projects. The position will require the ability to move projects forward in a fast-paced environment. The IT Operations Support Engineer will provide regular project status reports to IT Director.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years' experience in Project Management. (MUST HAVE)

• A minimum of five (5) years' experience in the support of Information Technology Systems (Network Switches & Router Configuration)

• Experience with UniFi, AWS, Fortinet switches & FortiGate, Cato, Azure & Intune

• Responsible for providing system health reports, system access reports and others as requested Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

• Extensive knowledge and experience with low voltage wiring, networking, VLAN, WLAN and related information technology systems

• Extensive familiarity with a variety of types of information technology systems equipment, configuration and deployment processes

• Excellent knowledge of and experience in handling escalations of IT Support-related issues

• Knowledge of project management best practices; project scope, Agile project management, change requests, ISO 10006, key performance indicators (KPIs), project cost accounting

• Excellent Technical skills such as programming/application integration support, network configuration and server administration

• Ability to handle high stress situations

• Ability to handle fast paced high-demand environment

• Organize, manage and plan for a complex organization with a variety of critical responsibilities

• Interact successfully with senior staff and managers in pressure filled situations such as presentations and special project

• Must have excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate relevant risks and mitigation options in both written and verbal form

• Ability to analyze complex systems and situations in high stress environment • Ability to work with little oversite and deliver projects and support onetime

• Organizational, Time Management and Project Management skills a MUST
