Description of Position 

The Concurrent Credit Program is seeking applicants for a Program Assistant. This is a non-exempt, part-time position to begin immediately. The Concurrent Credit Program Assistant will report to, be supervised by and be accountable to the Associate Director of Concurrent Credit. 


Essential Functions 

  • Manage student accounts (billing and invoicing, reconciliation of Advanced Opportunities funds and Private School accounts, collections)  
  • Oversee reporting on accounts receivable (outstanding balances, holds, etc.)  
  • Manage data and records collection 
  • Oversee, facilitate, and develop operational functions for NNU specific to the Idaho State portal for dual credit 
  • Provide administrative support for the concurrent credit program and all functions associated (student registration process, high school and teacher support, tuition payment functions) 
  • Assist with the registration and funding processes  
  • Provide administrative support in the transition to Anthology 
  • Provide administrative support for all concurrent credit functions in the academic departments 
  • Provide support and collaboration with Director and Associate Director 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Requirements

Minimum Requirements 

  • Sufficient skills, knowledge and training to perform essential functions of this position 
  • Strong computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, etc…)  
  • Strong writing and grammatical skills 
  • Good interpersonal communication 
  • Ability to learn quickly 
  • Ability to work with students, parents, and instructors in a friendly yet authoritative manner 
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Preferred Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, depending upon experience. 
  • 3-years experience with basic accounting functions 
  • Experience with Anthology (preferred)
