Description -

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Content Partnerships & Media Business Development Senior Manager to help transform and scale our consumer media network into a modern, multi-revenue–stream media business. This role is ideal for a senior leader with a proven track record in building streaming television networks, content production and licensing businesses, and OTT products, while architecting hybrid subscription and ad-supported revenue models that materially increase company valuation. The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping growth strategy, forging high-impact content and distribution partnerships, and standing up new monetization engines across CTV/FAST, SVOD/AVOD, and brand/IP licensing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own growth, monetization, and partnership strategy for the media network.

  • Build and scale global distribution for streaming networks across major CTV/OTT platforms.

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of streaming TV channels and OTT products.

  • Source, negotiate, and close complex content and distribution deals with major media and tech partners.

  • Lead media product roadmap and launches of apps and channel experiences across platforms.

  • Cultivate senior-level relationships with key distribution, content, and technology partners.

  • Identify and execute new revenue streams via IP, brand licensing, and experiential initiatives.

  • Partner with Finance and Strategy to build business cases, forecast revenue, and prioritize investments.

  • Lead cross-functional deal teams and establish KPIs to measure and optimize performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years in media business development, content partnerships, or streaming/digital media.

  • Proven success scaling multi-revenue–stream media businesses (ads, subscription, licensing, brand/IP).

  • Track record sourcing, structuring, and closing complex content and distribution deals.

  • Deep understanding of streaming/CTV ecosystem (FAST, AVOD/SVOD, vMVPDs, OEM and app platforms).

  • Strong fluency in digital advertising and ad tech, especially CTV/OTT and programmatic.

  • Experience collaborating closely with Ad Sales, Finance, Product, and Legal on media initiatives.

  • Robust senior-level relationships across studios, platforms, and major media/tech partners.

  • Strong analytical and financial skills for modeling, forecasting, and ROI-based decision-making.

  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed leader comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous, build-from-scratch environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience launching and scaling digital-native TV or FAST channels on major CTV platforms.

  • Background in content acquisition, commissioning, or original programming.

  • Familiarity with brand/IP licensing, consumer products, and experiential/live partnerships.

  • Strong operator mindset connecting strategy to execution across content, product, and distribution.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence with C-level stakeholders.

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
