Summary 

A Sensors Software Engineer Co-op is responsible for supporting the Synthetic Environment Software group in software design and implementation.  This is an entry level position and employees will be expected to carry out work assignments of limited scope and complexity. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques in solving problems 

  • Assist more senior engineers in carrying out technical tasks 

  • Report status to the technical lead 

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

  • Enrolled in an accredited degree college/university program majoring in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline 

  • Completed at least 1 year of classes 

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 

  • Willing to learn new procedures and applications 

  • Detail-oriented 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. 

 

Preferred Skills 

  • Familiarity with C, C++, Fortran, Ada, Python 

Security Responsibilities
