The team coordinates all the operational activities that enable products to be introduced and sustained successfully. It’s about making sure there is consistency between production and test environments. It’s about ensuring hardware, software and networking changes are migrated into the production environment in a stable and controlled way. And it’s about creating build processes, coordinating product builds for release into production and setting up configuration specifications for releases.

What you’ll achieve

As a Product Operations Engineer, you will be engaging with product design and potentially global factories to introduce new offerings as well as to participate in other activities to support currently shipping products. You will work with internal extended teams and suppliers on desktop sustaining activities.

You will:

• Work with Global Operations Engineers to introduce new offerings on currently shipping platforms at a contract manufacturer through Dell's Block and Out-of-Block processes
• Work with Global Operations Engineers to assist with sustaining activities on currently shipping platforms at a contract manufacturer through Dell's Block and Out-of-Block processes
• Support a contract manufacturer currently shipping platforms

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor degree in an engineering field
• Ability to work independently and/or on a team
• Ability to work with others to drive issue resolution to closure

Desirable Requirements

• Project management experience
• Product management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills required in both English and Spanish
