Sentara Independence Hospital is currently recruiting for a Radiology Tech

This is a Full-Time Position.

Position Details and Requirements:

Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic Radiology systems and preparation of patient room/equipment/medications.  Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.

Trade School Graduate - RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY

Experience:

Licenses and Certifications:

Required: Amer Reg of Radiologic Tech, Basic Life Support

Skills:

Required: Communication, Operation and Control, Speaking, Writing

Other:

Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain ARRT registry within 180 days of hire.

    • Physical Therapy - A range of quality physical therapy and rehabilitation services will be available
      at our center furnished with state of the art equipment for evaluation and treatment of various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
    • Sleep Disorders Center - The Sentara Sleep Center gives you access to highly skilled physicians and sleep specialists who have years of experience diagnosing and treating sleep disorders.
    • Cardiology Services - Echocardiography, Holter Monitoring, and Event Monitoring are supported by a team of registered sonographers
