Technology Analyst I
POSITION CONCEPT
The Technology Analyst I is an entry level position on the Technical Application team. Follows established policies and procedures to support, administration, configuration, data administration, and testing of computer systems and applications core to Electric Delivery (ED). Work under direct supervision and the guidance of more senior team members on routine assignments servicing customers, technical team members, and programming team members with technology enablement.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learns and performs basic configuration and tests computer-based applications which support ED. (20%)
- Creates reports, queries and data extracts of limited diversity, providing data to users as requested. (20%)
- Assists with assignments or projects providing input related to definition of requirements and recommendations of appropriate solutions. (20%)
- Serves as a liaison between ED and other technical groups, develops relationships with key customers including face-to-face, on-site interactions, and meets/communicates with end-users and stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information and updates. (15%)
- Builds a thorough understanding of supported business areas and current and future processes. (15%)
- Monitors supported applications to ensure data integrity and accuracy. (10%)
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Associate’s Degree in business or related technology field.
