IT Senior Business Analyst

<p> </p> <p>CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members.<br/> CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><br/> <b>YOUR ROLE :</b></p> <p><br/> In order to address its Ship Management ERP (SmartTOUCH) support and evolution, CMA ships is reinforcing its Digital Solutions team with a position of IT Business Analyst.</p> <p><br/>  </p> <p><b>WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO :</b><br/>  </p> <p>· Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations.<br/> · Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies.<br/> · Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis.<br/> · Be responsible for maintenance and product evolution of software applications.<br/> 1. Application Support<br/> · Provide level 1/2 technical support for day-to-day application queries and issues<br/> · Analyze the root cause, resolve the data management issues and propose permanent fix (if applicable).<br/> · Monitor,manage and solve application problems via the dedicated incident management tool within the OLA.<br/> · Document issues, observations and outcomes accurately to escalate issues as required in vendors incident<br/> management tool and to ensure the resolution within the SLA.<br/> · Maintain and create documentation for technical troubleshooting and best practices.<br/> · Maintain understanding of company business processes.<br/> 2. Product Management<br/> · Identify, capture and translate business requirements for technical discussion.<br/> · Prioritise business needs with Business Stakeholders on the release of functionalities.<br/> · Document the feedback, suggestions and business requirements via the dedicated change management tool.<br/> · Monitor product development to ensure consistency against business requirements.<br/> · Perform functional test on product and coordinate User Acceptance Test with business users.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><b>WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR :</b><br/>  </p> <p>· Good knowledge of the maritime operational constraints.<br/> · Fluent English.<br/> Experience<br/> · Must have 3-5 years experience in:<br/> o product management and application support.<br/> o driving product and process improvements.<br/> o providing front end application support.<br/> Personal attributes<br/> · Analytical skills<br/> · Goal oriented and self-motivated<br/> · Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills<br/> · Effective verbal, written and presentation skills<br/> · Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.<br/> · Proficient in determining the causes for application errors.</p> <p> </p> <p>Come along on CMA CGM’s adventure</p>
