Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and documentation of logistics materials, including spares, tools, and equipment.
Manage the shipping and routing of materials, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Maintain and analyze records of equipment, components, repair parts, and related manuals.
Optimize the allocation and organization of storage facilities for logistics materials.
Ensure compliance with import/export requirements.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Provide mentorship and guidance to Logistics Specialist I.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
In-depth knowledge of state, federal, and global regulations related to logistics.
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
Basic understanding of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques.
Experience with inventory databases.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Advanced proficiency in logistics software and tools.
Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
HazMat Training/Certification.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS.
Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record.
Understanding of shelf life.
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.
Essential Functions:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
Ability to work on your feet for a majority of the work shift.
Ability to work in a loud environment.
Ability to travel as needed.
Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
