Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a Software Developer to join its Deployed Products & Services team. This team is creating new products for courseware and education built on AI and Wolfram technology. The Software Developer will develop notebook-based interfaces for writing, publishing and using interactive content like assessments, quizzes and surveys. They will work with other teams, such as User Experience, Graphic Design and Language Design, to determine product specifications and will also collaborate with an international group of developers with experience in educational software.
Responsibilities

  • Developing notebook interfaces for writing and answering questions and assessments
  • Working with User Experience and Graphic Design to implement specifications
  • Working with the Wolfram Cloud and Quality Assurance teams to ensure performance
  • Being flexible as projects and products evolve

Requirements

  • Experience developing front end user interfaces in any environment
  • Familiarity with and the ability to learn Wolfram Language
  • Experience using Git
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related technical field
  • Experience with the Wolfram Notebook front end and notebook programming is preferred
