Manager/Senior Manager Large Capital Projects

Manager/Senior Manager Large Capital Projects will manage multiple large construction projects from start to finish. This includes Review and present multi facility CAPEX requests and regular reporting on all status of progress and concerns. The position reports to VP Global Operations.

Your key responsibilities
- Safely deliver Large Capital Projects on time, on budget and in scope by coordinating with multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams
- Assess facility Layout for optimal space utilization and processes using lean manufacturing techniques
- Large CAPEX construction management to avoid delivery delays, unforeseen change orders, and manage day to day interaction with contractors
- Collaborate with operation teams and Project Management Office to deliver lean production plants
- Master contractual partnerships to deliver successfully each workstreams and coordinate them
- Review CAPEX requests for the Biomedical business
This position is eligible for the dsm-firmenich Hybrid Working model, spending 3 days per week in office and the balance of the work week in a home office. You can potentially expect to spend 5 days a week on site during active construction periods.
This position will be filled at a level commensurate with the experience of the successful candidate.

You bring
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a project and engineering manager role supporting industrial large capital projects (food, perfumery, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, biomedical) required
