About the Team
Candidate will be joining an experienced benefits and payroll team focusing on providing excellent service to all Fitch employees.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Help new hires and existing employees understand and make full use of benefits offered
- Guide employees through the leave process such as parental, FMLA, NYPFL, Short Term Disability (STD) to fully understand
- Help employees with benefits and payroll queries and resolve any issues
- Assist payroll team with payroll processing ensuring employees are paid correctly
- Assist benefits team with administrative duties such as invoice audit & review
- Ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing of payroll transactions such as deductions for benefits
- Maintain intranet benefits and payroll pages with relevant information.
- Prepare Benefits Entitlement Summaries for terminated employees and maintain COBRA Portal subsidies.
- Completing government requested forms for benefits and payroll, verification of employment and claims for unemployment.
- Canada Office Tasks: Conduct new hire orientations, manage employee information in various portals, distribute benefit information, handle life events like adding dependents, confirm employment via emails, and process terminations. Assist with Canada payroll processing
You May be a Good Fit if:
- At least 3 years of experience with benefits or payroll administration
- Experience with Excel and a benefits and/or payroll platfrom
- Good organization skills and able to prioritize duties
- Good communication skills
