Head of Operations - Wix Infrastructure Teams

Our goal is to become the main engine of the Internet so we can create a more open web for all.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>As the Head of Operations  you will be a key strategic partner to the VP infrastructure providing essential support in managing and executing the day-to-day operations of the entire group. This senior role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including project management, operational efficiency, strategic planning, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. </p><p> </p><ul><li>Lead the development of a senior operations team in the infrastructure group</li><li>Identify opportunities for operational improvements, streamlining workflows, optimizing processes, and implementing best practices across multiple teams</li><li>Manage high-priority projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and timely delivery</li><li>Serve as infrastructure’s manager right hand providing strategic guidance and support on key initiatives and decision-making processes</li><li>Act as the focal point between the Infrastructure group and the rest of Wix</li><li>Focus on making Infrastructure’s budget for hosting and licenses more efficient as well as manage the group’s yearly non-R&amp;D budget</li><li>Build a great brand and reputation for the Infrastructure group internally and externally</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>A Senior Technical Operations Manager with 10+ years of proven experience in implementing operational methods in R&amp;D, system or IT organizations</li><li>Great written and verbal communication skills that allow you to explain highly technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>You have managed significant technical operations and aren’t afraid of big new challenges</li><li>Excellent leadership skills that allow you to take the lead and implement projects from start to finish, while building efficient operational processes and collaborative interfaces </li><li>You have great people skills, highly energized, and a “can do” approach</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>We are Wix’s Infrastructure Guild.
