This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we’re developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin’s mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies.Join us in building the systems that enable our missions. We are looking for a driven and technically strong Senior Manager to lead our Microsoft 365 and Identity & Access Management (IAM) platforms—capabilities that underpin collaboration, security, and operational excellence across the company. In this role, you will help ensure our digital ecosystem is safe, resilient, and continuously improving, reflecting our mission‑aligned commitment to product integrity and system safety.
Responsibilities:
- Own the strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise M365 services and Identity and access management platforms
- Build and enforce secure‑by‑design identity lifecycle processes rooted in continuous improvement and integrity of access systems, supporting safe and mission‑critical operations.
- Maintain high reliability, strong security posture, and exceptional user experience across collaboration and identity systems.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, HRIS, and business teams to align technology capabilities to mission needs.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing engineering team focused on disciplined execution, user enablement, and operational excellence.
- Drive incident response, root‑cause analysis, and long‑term hardening to support system safety and reliability at scale.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of enterprise IT experience with deep expertise in M365, Entra ID/Azure AD, authentication, and identity governance.
- 5+ years of proven leadership managing technical engineering teams in a fast‑moving, mission‑driven environment.
- Strong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Graph API).
- Demonstrated experience incorporating AI into solution creation to achieve better system outcomes..
- Experience implementing Zero‑Trust identity patterns and working within compliance or regulated frameworks.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into secure, scalable, user‑centric solutions.
Compensation Range for:
WA applicants is $183,807.00 - $257,328.75Other site ranges may differ
