Senior Spend Manager

Summary:

In this role, you will work independently and with limited supervision to provide dedicated service for a large Enterprise Account. You will partner with the Spend Executive to drive penetration of contracts and implement value-based solutions.  You will identify savings opportunities in the supply chain setting, increase utilization of supply chain contracts and programs, and make recommendations of products and solutions to meet provider needs. Your primary focus will include medical/surgical, pharmacy, lab, IT, purchased services, facilities, etc.  The position is based in Miami, Florida. 

Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement opportunities including submitting contract documents, providing complex analytics to illustrate cost savings, and documenting a savings plan.

• Facilitate onboarding of new provider resources to Vizient tools and solutions.

• Ensure use of Vizient tools and solutions are maximized in partnership with Product Advisors through on-going education and support.

• Collaborate with Spend Executive and analysts on Quarterly Business Review strategy, presentation development, delivery, and follow-up.

• Support implementation of new provider locations.

• Maintain relevant updates of activity within CRM system for all assigned providers, including contact information, active opportunities, provider meetings & important communication.

• Ensure Vizient competitiveness and position as a trusted advisor by informing provider of industry trends and associated Vizient products & capabilities. 

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred.

• 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

• Category management, sourcing or supply chain experience within healthcare preferred.

• Experience working with complex healthcare/hospital clients with multiple sites preferred.

• Exceptional client facing skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong communication, presentation, and group facilitation skills.

• Ability to use data and analytics (i.e., Draw insights, identify cost savings, variances, and areas of opportunity).

• Possess exceptional conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and results-oriented environment.

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) and PowerPoint skills.

• Candidate must reside in the Southeast region.

• Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$88,900.00 - $132,250.00
