Production Engineer

At Morrow, we have built one of Europe’s most advanced battery cell factories with a production capacity of 1GWh—and growing. To support this exciting journey, we are seeking an experienced and talented Production Engineer to help drive operational excellence in our battery cell manufacturing processes.

As a Production Engineer you will play a key role in optimizing production systems, ensuring smooth daily operations, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing capabilities. You’ll be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize production engineering processes, including planning, logistics, and standard operating procedures.
• Lead and supervise daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (OEE, yield, scrap, inventory).
• Define workforce plans and assign tasks to meet production schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Manage MES and ERP systems for production and material planning.
• Oversee plant logistics, including inbound, internal, and outbound flows.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure equipment reliability.
• Support training and development of production staff to build a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale operations and implement quality control systems.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing (e.g., battery, food packaging).
• Proven track record in scaling production and implementing lean manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of quality systems (PFMEA, SPC, IATF16949) and statistical tools.
• Experience working in clean room and low-moisture dry room environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Minitab (or similar), MES, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
